Triton Triton was a 2-cylinder, 4-stroke motor made in Höganäs c. 1920. The two cylinders were opposing like Archimedes and in its brochure they say that Triton is the only motor in the world with “real” clutch and reverse gear. They also say it is “The only existing fully developed outboard motor”. We think there is no motor left but if you know something please tell us. Triton was only produced for a few years. This is besides a later Penta the only 4-stroke outboard motors made in Sweden.
